Manufacturing Engineer

We are seeking a full-time Manufacturing Engineer to develop CNC programs, setup documentation, and optimize high-precision machining processes for our aerospace job shop. Job Overview ? Position: Manufacturing Engineer ? CNC & Aerospace Processing ? Location: Onsite, Monday through Friday ? Industry: Precision Aerospace CNC Machining (Milling & Turning) Key Responsibilities ? CNC Programming: Create and modify CAM toolpaths, cutting sequences, feeds, and speeds for complex aerospace parts. ? Cnc setup: setup and/or assist machinists in shop ? Shop-Floor Documentation: Write clear setup sheets, routing instructions, and tooling lists to ensure reliable repeat production. ? Quality & Compliance: Support First Article Inspections (FAI) and maintain document control aligned with AS9100 quality standards. ? Process Improvement: Troubleshoot machining bottlenecks, reduce cycle times, and design efficient work holding fixtures. Qualifications ? Experience: Minimum 2?3 years of hands-on manufacturing engineering or CNC programming experience in a tight-tolerance machine shop. ? Education: Bachelor?s degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent practical shop experience). ? Technical Skills: Proficiency with CAM software (such as Mastercam) and a strong working knowledge of GD&T and blueprint reading. ? Knowledge: Familiarity with cutting exotic aerospace metals, tooling selection, and AS9100 quality systems.
