CNC Machinist (2nd Shift Opening)

Seeking qualified candidates for immediate opening for CNC Machinist

Schedule:

3:00 PM -- 11:30 PM Monday thru Friday (Second Shift)

Job Description:

If you are a diligent Machinist with several years of experience on CNC lathes and mills, and the desire to work in a non-production engineer-to-order company, then Numalliance - North America Inc. (NNA) may be the right place for you!

As a CNC Machinist for NNA, you will perform machining and in-process inspection as outlined by shop paperwork, process documentation, engineering drawings, and quality requirements. Also, when applicable, you will identify cost reduction and productivity improvement opportunities.

Additional responsibilities for the CNC Machinist include:

• Demonstrates a high degree of proficiency in the setup, operation, and care of machinery.
• Proficiency with any of the following: G & M code read/edit, Fanuc controls, Mazatrol, Conversational programming, Prototrac.
• Able to perform first article inspection - adhere to dimensions and tolerances found on blueprints.
• Have your own tools and knowledge of inspection equipment - calipers, micrometers, fixed gauges, etc.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
• Perform standard and periodic maintenance on equipment: chip clearing, fluid refill, etc.
• Follow all safety procedures.

Knowledge of the following equipment is recommended:

• MILLS
• Haas VF1 & VF3 3-axis mill center
• Hurco VMX 24, 42, 50 3 & 4 axis mill center
• Protrack or Bridgeport mill experience is a plus
