We are a leading Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) provider specializing in printed circuit board assemblies (PCBA), system integration, and turnkey electronic solutions. Our facility serves aerospace, defense, medical, industrial, and LED lighting markets.


Position:  Electrical Engineering Intern – Production & Manufacturing
Location:  Sanford, Florida
Duration:  3–6 months, flexible based on academic program


Role Overview

This internship provides hands-on experience in electronics production, testing, and process engineering. You will support the manufacturing team in improving efficiency, maintaining quality standards, and assisting with day-to-day engineering tasks on the production floor.


Responsibilities
 • Support process engineering activities to improve PCB assembly yields and reduce defects.
 • Assist in troubleshooting production issues related to soldering, component placement, and test failures.
 • Help create and update work instructions, process documentation, and test procedures.
 • Participate in first article inspection (FAI) and new product introduction (NPI) builds.
 • Collect and analyze production data for continuous improvement initiatives.
 • Work with technicians and operators to implement process improvements and best practices.
 • Gain exposure to IPC standards, ESD practices, and quality control systems in electronics manufacturing.


Qualifications
 • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering Technology, or related field.
 • Understanding of basic circuit theory and ability to read schematics.
 • Familiarity with soldering, PCB assembly processes, or electronics manufacturing is a plus.
 • Comfortable using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies.
 • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.
 • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment.
